The mission of the Chatfield Police Department is to provide quality police services to out community by promoting meaningful police / citizen interaction and community partnerships, with empahasis on public education, problem solving and actively responding to community concerns. We commit to the values of integrity, impartiality, and professionalism in the performance of our duties.

• Partnering with citizens and other city services to solve quality of life issues, that if left unaddressed often lead to larger problems and concerns for the community.

The Chief of Police is committed to a high standard of professionalism, ethics and accountability for all department members. All sworn members of the Chatfield Police Department take the Law Enforcement Oath of Honor administered by the Chief of Police in addition to the oath of office that is administered by the City Clerk.
