Financial Assistance & Programs
The Chatfield Economic Development Authority (EDA) has extensive experience utilizing financial assistance, incentive programs, and grants. The EDA has assisted more than 20 local businesses with over $1.2 million in low interest loans to help with startup and expansion. Since 2014, the EDA has leveraged over $20.5 million in grants, loans, property tax incentives, and other programs for both private and public development projects.
Currently we have several programs that can help your project. We are also open to creatively solving any project impediments you may have outside of our standard programs as funding / program availability allows.

Both of these tools utilize new property taxes created from a development to help financially difficult but beneficial projects become feasible. Recent projects utilizing these tools were able to finance infrastructure, acquisition, and site development costs for commercial, industrial and residential projects.
