The City of Chatfield (population 3,020) is seeking a full-time Patrol Officer.  This position reports directly to the Chief of Police and is primarily responsible for patrolling and enforcing federal, state and local laws to promote the health, safety and welfare of the community. 

Minimum qualifications for this position include:  Associate of Arts degree in law enforcement; Valid Minnesota POST license; Valid Minnesota drivers license; Continuing certification as a First Responder; Must meet all state-mandated certifications and medical requirements. 

The 2026 minimum pay step for this position is $31.72 per hour.
